Hi people we need to get more secondary school placements for our children that live in worksop . There is quite a few children having to go to other secondary schools out off worksop, away from all there friends, having to travel miles. I think it is about time us parents stand up for our children. Theres worksop children going to retford, Warsop, Bircotes/Harworth, Doncaster and kiveton high schools as there isn't enough school places at portland or vally . The council are letting more houses to be built, which means more children not enough school places. Really worksop could do with a new high school. Or at least build more classroom . The government haven't thought about the impact this will have on children , starting high schools with no one they know, away from all there friends that they have had for the last 6 years. There are children that are depressed from the impact off starting new all over again not knowing anyone . Let's get as may people to sign to get this sorted for our children.
