Mental health to be taught in all schools for all ages

Over the last five years, there has been a significant increase in the number of students experiencing multiple mental health issues. Our mental health has an extremely large impact on how we feel, think, and act. It embraces an individual's emotions, psychological well-being, and social well-being. Mental health can also have an impact on how people deal with stress, interact with others, and make daily choices and decisions.
One out of every five teenagers (aged 12 to 18) suffers from at least one mental health disorder. Untreated mental health disorders can have a significant impact on daily life and overall well-being, affecting relationships, physical health, academic performance, happiness, enjoyment of life/everyday activities, social involvement, and other areas depending on the type.
The main goal of this petition is to raise awareness in the larger community and to achieve our goal of having at least one lesson dedicated to mental health. We would like to gain knowledge not only how to support those with mental disorders, but also how to speak up if you are struggling, where to get help, how to maintain good mental health, how to cope with mental issues or stress, and how to spot mental health issues in a crowd, friend group, or classroom.
This is a school assignment, but both my partner and I are passionate about mental health and believe that not enough people are properly educated on the subject. As a result, we both decided to go a step further and contribute to the betterment and education of our society.
