Keep music ALIVE in UK schools!

2240 signatures and still rising!

Thank you to EVERYONE who has signed this petition so far. It's had a lot of support, and even though the government has stated in its latest guidelines that music should be part of a 'broad and balanced curriculum', the problem still remains. The data-driven education system means that some head teachers are already deciding to slim down their curriculum, not buy in music lessons or focus more on subjects deemed to be more 'academic'. Please continue to share this and raise its profile - we are a quarter of the way to 10,000 signatures. At that point, the government HAS to respond. Keep up the pressure everyone!
