Jaden sadly died not far from my home. It was tragic, another life lost early. A preventable death. Children must be kept in school d All of our Schools should be safe & nurturing places of learning with in house support. Exclusions should be a last resort & children found alternatives nearby, immediately. Condolences to the family & friends, remembering Jaden.

When children have been excluded, every effort should be made to ensure that child receives good educational opportunities and this should include being able to do so outside of their Borough. This would help to keep them secure also assistance given to parents/carers eg transport to get children to and from the desired area for safety reasons

I see this exclusion happening so too often especially to young black bits and it affects them right through their adult life.

Why oh why oh why has nothing changed for n this country with black boys in the education system? Note that these schools will exclude the children and continue to collect the pupil premium because of they do not inform the local authority.

We have a duty of care to our children. We are failing them. The system needs to change. Much love to the Moodie family.
