Invest in energy saving technology in schools

There are constant budget cuts and changes in the school districts. This year my school almost cut fine arts, and raise fees for sports and other school classes that weren't 'important'. If the schools decide to invest in ways to recycle money there would be no need to make budget cuts. For example, we can recycle the plastic soda bottles in separate recycling bins. Bottle caps themselves can get 5 cents per bottle. The soda intake of students is high and we would be able to save a lot of money. Also if there is changes in light bulbs and energy efficient power, large schools would be able to save a lot of money. These changes will have kids be able to afford joining sports and have fun also they would be able to enjoy the love of music. If we make a change we will be able to save these programs before it is too late.
