Charles Kaulbach started this petition to Department of Education

I believe that education should be focused on what students want to learn and not on what they are forced to. If you force anyone of any age to learn something they dont want too, it will kill their desire to learn. If we all could choose from early age on the lessons or the jobs we want to pursue, we can better mould their future into something they may enjoy spending 6 hours a day of their life at. People may say that someone at the age of five or ten have no idea what they want to learn, but that's only because their idea of what they wanted to do changed, because they had a belief they never could. From an early age we have all tried to be creative and express ourselves through what we wanted to do and what made us the happiest. School should be a place where we can learn to express our talents and build on what we know we want to do. We will live our best life building on them. Everyone should be their own individual and not taught how too live someone else's life not enjoying it. As a part of a community I believe we should help each other live our best lives to brighten the future.
