Aishah is a BAME student from a low progression to HE neighbourhood in London. She immigrated to the UK to pursue her dreams of studying medicine and becoming a doctor in England. Throughout her secondary school career Aishah was predicted high grades and described by teachers as being a studious and hardworking with the potential to achieve fantastic results at GCSE.

Aishah was shocked and understandably incredibly upset when she discovered that Ofqual had not awarded her the grades that her school predicted her. Especially considering she achieved such high results in her mock results.

Aishah's dreams of studying Medicine at university have been destroyed. Her new results mean she is unable to progress onto A Levels and ultimately prevents her from pursuing her dream of being the first person in her family to attend university.
