According To latest Notification from Department of Technical Education, Maharashtra, MHT-CET is to be conducted for the year 2018. The resolution stated that there will be 10 questions (out of 50) from selected chapters of Standard 11th and rest from Standard 12th. They clearly mentioned that the difficulty of questions will be at par with JEE. There are 100 MCQs of Physics(50) and Chemistry(50) and 90 minutes to solve them. That is students get 54 seconds per MCQ to solve a question of difficulty level at par with JEE. JEE( Joint Entrance Examination) is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. JEE examination has 90 questions of Physics(30), Chemistry(30) & Mathematics(30) and they get 3 hours (180 minutes)for that. That is to solve an MCQ of JEE level they get 2 minutes(120 seconds per MCQ). This clearly Implies that to solve an MCQ of difficulty level at par with JEE requires more than 1 minute (60-120 secs). So, how can a student Solve a JEE level Question in MHT-CET in 54 seconds? It's not possible for a student to complete entire paper. How can a 2-min question be solved in 54 seconds? So, clearly, something has to be changed either the time or difficulty level or decrease the No. of MCQs. There has to be a change in the new resolution. Our appeals to the Government have gone unheard. The Government might not listen to 230 people, but if I can get the support of thousands of concerned citizens like you it can surely make a difference. This is an appeal to the Government to provide the support they used to offer.
