Funding for Air Conditioning in Public Schools Across Ontario

Anyone that lives in Ontario can agree that it can get pretty hot in the summer. Many students and teachers know the struggle of having to sit in a classroom for an entire school day in unbearable heat with no air conditioning. Nearly 77% of schools in Toronto have no air conditioning at all or are not fully air conditioned. This can cause many issues including heat exhaustion, dehydration, spoiled lunches, students who are unable to focus, teachers unable to teach, and many more. We believe that more money should be put into funding for air conditioning in order to improve the environment in public schools across Ontario.
