Equal Distribution of the Funding on the Education Sector of Indigenous or Remote Areas

Since the past few years, the largest percentage of the national budget is allotted in the education sector. For this year, indeed the budget for the Philippines' education sector amounted to the sum of P3.35 trillion. This increase would be reasonable for the addition of the senior high school program to the Philippines' post-secondary education. In the National Capital Region, it would be expected to receive a notable part of the fund, since the place is a congregate of schools supporting number of students inversely proportional to the region's area. In the areas of forest isolation, mountain provinces, and lone island villages, education is still as important as to those in the central.
We, as students that once experienced lack of financial assistance. We ask for an equity on the part of the public schools on indigenous places to receive an equal amount of fund as that of the schools on the mainlands. In order for the concerned to give more consideration, a problem with an indigenous area is that; little, to no innovation occurs among the villagers, therefore increasing the load on their shackles against progress. Moreover, a number of documentaries on leading television broadcasting companies report about children on indigenous areas that are struggling, and trekking hazardous paths just to attend to school at a young age. On the part of the students, these students are to deserve education that compensates for their effort and desire to innovate. On the part of the faculty that offers their skills to aid children and our underclassmen in stepping closer to innovation. Both expose themselves to hazards, not only on going to their respective schools, but the hazards that; informal classrooms, informal comfort rooms, and geographic location offer.
We address this petition to the Department of Education that are in charge of the distribution of the national budget that is allocated for the education sector. We would like the fund for all public secondary and post-secondary levels of education equal for every area. Given that the public school instructors are government employees, in this year of 2017 as well are granted an increase in salary. Any excess of the fund would be utilized for school renovation or classroom construction. Every children that does not receive education, is a step halted in the progress of the country.
