On 5/17/19 & 5/22/19, Georgia Clark tweeted several public tweets to Trump. She is a teacher at Carter Riverside in Fortworth TX. She was asking for his assistance in removing immigrant students, from her school. She gave her name and number and aslo asked for protection against "recrimination." She is also being investigated for asking a student to show their papers, before allowing them to go to the restroom. In 2007 she was investigated for kicking a student. On 5/29, the school put her on paid admin leave . On 6/4, they terminated her. On 8/30, Fort Worth Star Telegram reported an independent examiner told the school district not to fire Clark.  Not only is her behavior unprofessional and discriminatory, it is bullying and illegal. In 2017, David's law was passed, which made it illegal for cyberbullying and bullying by students. There is currently not any law against teachers bullying students.  "The Supreme Court ruled in Plyler v. Doe that public schools are required to provide schooling for children regardless of their immigration status. Schools cannot ask students about their immigration status or report them or family members to federal immigration authorities", states the Washington Post. Our children deserve to attend their school, without being judged and interrogated by teachers. Students are afraid to return to school because of her. All of our children should feel safe around their teachers. Please sign this petition, so we can make sure we do not set a precedent for teachers being able to discriminate or bully any of our children.
