Education is an essential right, which permits each child to receive instruction and to blossom socially. The right to an education is vital for the economic, social and cultural development of all societies.
Education also consists of a form of learning that is necessary for the development of one’s personality and identity, as well as his physical and intellectual capabilities. Education permits, notably, the transmission of common principles to new generations, and the conservation and perpetuation of social values. It also contributes to the flourishing of individuality through the enhancement of social and professional integration.
Education has as its ultimate objective the improvement of a person’s quality of life. It offers to underprivileged adults and children a chance to escape from poverty. It is thus an essential tool for the economic, social and cultural development of all populations around the world.

All research with regard to learning has established without doubt that this earliest stage is of most importance in determining the future outcome of the individual and her/his educational achievement. It is for this reson that enlightened jurisdictions require the highest standards of education and training for those involved with children at this stage of their development. Such jurisdictions also reward the teachers of this age at least equally with those working in other phases of the schooling process. Wake up and recognise that the future of any state depends on being able to liberate the skills and talents of all its citizens giving each an equal chance to demonstrate her/his capabilities. When the question is asked who was responsible for not doing this, will you stand up and own it was you that let your country down?

Childhood is such an important part of every human beings life. It should be the time of experimenting, learning and enjoying life. Adults should be the ones looking out for children's rights and teaching them all they need to know, not the ones who disturb them in their development!

I am an ECCE expert and I stand for Child Rights in Preschool settings. I completely agree with the views presented here, and I want Govt. of India to follow International Practices with respect to ECCE, that's why I am signing this petition.
