This petition has been started in order to insure the health and wellness of all students in America. If the coronavirus makes it’s way into schools, it will put children of all ages at risk. Not just the children will be affected though, anyone who lives with them could also contract the virus. Many families in America have elderly and infants living in their home who stand little chance of surviving. Many schools have already introduced eLearning for events such as snow days. Through the use of eLearning, students can continue to learn and advance in school while they are at home. Closing schools during the coronavirus outbreak would not only help insure the safety and health of the American people but also reduce the panic connected to the coronavirus. Our president, Donald Trump has assured us that we have nothing to worry about but what’s the harm in being extra safe? The coronavirus is still in its infancy, so we can not be sure what will happen as time goes on. To be absolutely certain that the families of America are safe from this deadly outbreak, school should absolutely be replaced by eLearning until the coronavirus stops spreading.
