While the dress code constitutes said to give this school situation more contributing to education, it often does this contrary. In this last year, schools completely around this nation made national news for the ways they enforce their dress code— asking a student to put duct tape over the holes in her jeans, suspending a student for a shirt that was too short, or sending a student to the office for not wearing a bra— all of which takes the focus off of learning and place it on girls’ bodies. The dress code was made in 1969 by the USA Supreme authorities. Girls’ clothes are not a distraction! Change girls’ dress code!
