Bring back Science Formula Sheets for GCSE
0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!
The Department of Education have decided that people taking their GCSEs in 2018 onwards will not be having a formula sheet for sciences (or maths). This now means students will have to remember roughly 40 different formulas as well as all the content which has never been studied for GCSE before.
This puts alot of stress on students and leads to lots of different mental health issues. School is now no longer a calm and enjoyable environment, it is filled with stress and children having mental breakdowns. Students are no longer inspired to learn, they are only informed on what examiners want to hear. More than anything it is now a memory test.
A majority of students have said that they want the formula sheets back as they are already under imense pressure from other subjects. We feel by giving the formula sheet back it will result in students getting better grades leading them into a better future.
