Black and children of other ethnicities deserve to know about their heritage. They are entitled as any other child in the UK to learn about their cultures twelve months a year.

No longer is it acceptable in a multi cultural society to treat children of colour less favourably by offering teaching in October. 

Wales have paved the way by proving every child matters. No longer will they allow history to be eradicated or misinterpreted. They are forward thinking by continuing the conversation about racism at an early age.

We demand that the whole of the United Kingdom follows Wales lead and incorporates Black and Asian history into the school curriculum. We may then see a new generation of adults that respect each other as equals.
