As a student, I have noticed that there is a huge issue with the way Newton Public Schools address issues regarding anti-Semitism. During my many years at Newton Public Schools, I have encountered countless anti-Semitic incidents, ranging from anti-Semitic jokes to anti-Semitic vandalism. Very little has been done regarding these issues. This problem occurs because the Newton Public School did not do its job teaching students about Jewish history. The only way we will be able to solve this issue is if we teach students about the history of anti-Semitism and the Holocaust. If only the Newton Public Schools added a one-week curriculum teaching students about the history of the Holocaust. The anti-Semitism in Newton Public Schools would decrease.
