In today's difficult times, we should focus ourselves to things that can helps us to survive knowing all the problems that we are facing. There are super typhoons that are continuing to destroy houses, accidents, and the spreading virus world wide. The economy of our country is falling down, closing of business structures and other source of living. I think it's better if we should know more how to prevent and how to survive life now without any doubts and problems in mind about academic.
Imagine living online, paying for the internet, and going to internet cafes for weeks, just for the sake of compliance, when families suffer and others have little to eat, only worrying about how to live every day. Maybe the charge of the bills will get more high because of the additional time of using the gadgets and internet.
The digital divide evident in our educational sphere will only resurface further by moving through a "offsite and online" style of learning. Not everybody has a secure internet link, and for certain students it will be difficult or worse, impossible to find a signal. An "academic freeze" must be taken into account with a mental health pandemic and digital divide cutting further into our educational system at least unless and until the curve has flattened and mass research has been conducted and proved successful
