We've had a series of problematic choices as Secretary of Defense the last few administrations. Since Leon Panetta, there hasn't been a holder of the position for more than 1 year and 355 days (Chuck Hagel). Well, I have a solution to that problem.
Joe Kassabian, the widely read of author of "Hooligans of Kandahar," "Citizen of Earth," and the upcoming "The Great Traitor," would be an ideal candidate to replace the "Honorable" Mark Esper as SecDef. Joe is an Army veteran, who toiled in the sand of Afghanistan on multiple tours. He has also been open and transparent in what he would do as SecDef: end the Forever War, lower the budget to free funds for social programs...and some other stuff. Anyway, appoint this man now!
