Competitive sport has a wealth of researched benefits for school age children such as improving self esteem, decreasing risky behavior, weight control and learning life skills. Worldwide has seen 10x increase in teen suicide, childhood anxiety and depression, as well as increase in obesity since start pandemic. Children are lowest risk for Covid-19 but have stricter regulations regarding interschool sport than adults playing at amateur club level. These same children are allowed to compete at clubs which is an additional cost to parents.

Asking that children and parents are given the choice to compete in contact and non contact sports with Covid regulations regarding sanitizing and mask wearing where applicable. A consent signed understanding the level of risk and choice be given back to the parents that know what is best for their child.

We want to remove the stricter regulations placed on school sport and give kids same level as rest of the country, if not even more lenient as they are low risk Covid, but high risk for physical, mental and emotional health conditions.

Let's get our kids off screens, off the streets and back on sports fields.
