The department of basic education has been keeping us in temporary posts and only absorbing those that were funded by the department or Nsfas .We wait every year to be absorbed but it never happens as we are here to reserve the bursary holders space.

Every year around April they release a lot of temporary posts which lasts till December come January to March they do away with us . The department is clearly discriminating against self funded graduates.

current situation schools show that the department should be employing teachers but they are not how do they justify more than 50 learners per class with class capacity of 30 in the midst of the pandemic �.what happened to the teacher learner ration ,what happened to humanity when we still see the same school that lacked classes in 1994 still with only two blocks of classes .Bring back quality education employ teachers on a permanent basis stop investing the money in infrastructure that isn’t being delivered.

Work on retaining substitute teachers let the districts handle the placement of unemployed educators.Permanently hire us.
