To reduce carbon emissions & allow all to travel we need Camberwell Station and Brixton East re-opened plus Loughborough Junction accessible to wheelchairs, buggies, bikes, luggage-bearers, patients at Kings, commuters, small legs and wobbly ones.

Camberwell has long needed a tube station and it was a massive disappointment when the public demand which favoured our route was ignored. Traffic congestion, car usage and pollution levels in the area are high in the absence of fast alternatives. Reopening the old Camberwell train station would bring great benefits to people who either live in Camberwell, as I do, or who work or study in the area, at Kings College hospital, The Institute of Psychiatry and Camberwell Art College or who come to visit The South London Art Gallery. We all badly need this station.
