Stop school funding cuts

Schools are facing devastating funding cuts.
By 2020 William Howard School could have £591 less to spend on each pupil which could lead to the loss of 19 teachers. Longtown Primary would have £399 less per pupil which could cost two teaching jobs. Brampton Primary faces having £383 less per pupil, putting two teaching jobs at risk. Other schools in our area also face funding cuts.
This is already harming our children's education. We’re demanding an increase in investment for our schools and call on the Government to ensure NO child loses out as a result of the new funding formula - taking money away from any of our schools is wrong.
