make Makaton/BSL part of school curriculum from nursery to secondary school

i have a deaf daughter and am trying to learn sign language to help her communicate better, if i'd learnt this at school i'd be able to teach her properly now.
With the deaf population in the uk, if everyone learnt makaton/british sign language in school it would be great, they would then be able to communicate with deaf people which would help bring the hearing and deaf communities closer together, it also a fact that babies/children learn this easier than adults and so we could make sign language something that is part of everyday life and everyone would be able to communicate with each other
I can't seem to change the target for required signatures but would ideally want 5000+ to try and make this happen
