On October 21st 2020 tragedy struck our small community of Wolcott Indiana as Mathew and Daniel Benyon, brothers, were found murdered in their home. Breann Cobb, Marlin Seay, and Dorian Hale quickly found themselves in custody with damming evidence against them. A big piece of that evidence was the firearm used, an Breann Cobb’s cellphone which police discovered texts message between the 3 in which they planned and discussed the robbery. Now almost 2 years later a plea agreement is in motion that would grant Breann Cobb immunity for her role in the murder of her former classmate an his brother in exchange for her testimony. This is a miscarriage of justice as it was revealed early in the investigation Breann sent texts saying "If I was scared to rob him I wouldn't of spent $15 on (expletive) pepper spray." As if this wasn’t enough It was also revealed that Breann brought HER YOUNG CHILD with her to the armed robbery/murder. I speak confidently in saying that I along with our whole community feels this is absolutely unacceptable and a miscarriage of justice. I ask that you please sign this petition in hope with enough attention the prosecution will refuse to offer immunity to Breann Cobb for her horrific crimes.
