This petition is specifically for women who served in the Gulf War at one time or another, during their service to our Great Country. It seems as though the Veterans Administration is not receiving enough feedback from Women Veterans who are loosing their hair. This is a very serious issue to me as well as to other women across the United States who wore the Uniform proudly, served their country, and now they are being over looked when it's time to recognize them. Alopecia areata is a common autoimmune skin disease, causing hair loss on the scalp. This is what the VA says women have? When most women entered the military there was no disease in their system which would cause extreme hair lost. I want the VA to be aware of this serious issue and compensate all women who come forth and sign this petition, especially when the VA recognizes it as a military related issue and they have applied 0% toward their VA disability. When Woman speak up the VA will listen. So I'm asking you to please sign this petition so it can be forwarded to the Veterans Administration. This is a serious issue and it must be heard.
