"Ek kan nie saam met hierdie swart mense swem nie"
Greetings, I am a black female who resides at the shamefully racist place called Bellatrix Dameskoshuis. These people have absolutely no shame in how they treat black girls here knowing very well we are the minority and undermine us, bully us, look down upon with their racist slurs. They know they can get away with it because the Management at this place is just as racist as they are. They even cover it up.
On the 10th of Oct, my friends and I experienced disrespectful , racist, obnoxious, unpleasant, uncalled for treatment which is deeply  rooted and stems from racism from this white woman who is apparently our house mother that seems to suffer from a deep superiority complex and felt as though she can take advantage of us being vulnerable and the fact that we are black and minorities in this hostel and town. She went to the offices and made false accusations of me. Please find attached statement below. (LIES! LIES! LIES!).

I never had five visitors! Only two as I am allowed! And my friend signed in 2.
I never left my visitors unattended!
I just went to answer my father’s phone call literally a meter away from my friends so I may have a peaceful conversation with my father without the disturbance of the drunken white girls near us (mind you, alcohol is not allowed). They didn't even get in trouble because of their skin colour I guess because I am black we were the ones being kicked out for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON!!!
We were ABSOLUTELY NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG!!!
THE WHITE GIRSL GOT DRUNK MADE, SO MUCH NOISE .IF ANYTHING THEY HAD TO BE THE ONES KICKED OUT AND FINED..
This is just blatant racism at its best in broad day light. Worst part we all pay the same amount as everybody. All living arrangements are the same but somehow the white girls always get special treatment even with maintenance issues. In all aspects they get special attention. The last time my clothes went missing (the entire washing line) they. The last time my clothes went missing (the entire washing line) they did absolutely nothing telling me "there is nothing we can do about it".
But, however, a few weeks ago when a white girl's hoodie went missing the house mother and another employee came flying to aid her. If this is not favouritism then clearly I am delusional.
And there is also another incident that occurred where my friends and i were at the pool and when we got into the pool two white girls got out and one of them said and I quote "Ek kan nie saam met hierdie swart mense swem nie" thinking that we wouldn't understand them and they could get away with it.

We have raised these issues with OppiKampus and the management just shrugged and said (nonchalantly) "I'm sorry you feel this way". Not even that they are going to investigate it and do something.

WE ARE TIERD OF THIS MISTREATMENT AND DEMORALIZATION! SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE!!!
