The fallout from the coronavirus pandemic is going to be massive, particularly on our healthcare system and on our economy. We are definitely heading towards a recession with the harrowing possibility of another Great Depression on the horizon. Any objective observer would likely reach the conclusion that our federal government’s response has been lackluster at best. It has never been more evident that we are in need of someone with a plan!

Elizabeth Warren’s candidacy was almost prescient in this way. It seems obvious that she is the type of leader who could put together the type of economic response that would be appropriate for these times. Though it is true that the Senator from Massachusetts has suspended her candidacy, it’s not too late for us to help put her in a position to insure that she will be at the forefront of the response.
