Holden Culotta started this petition to Democratic National Committee and

At the November Democratic Debate, Andrew Yang received the least amount of speaking time with 6:43. Every other candidate had above 8 minutes.

At the December Democratic Debate, Andrew Yang received the least amount of speaking time with 10:47. Every other candidate (except for Tom Steyer who had 11:46) had above 15 minutes.

At the January Democratic Debate, Andrew Yang received the least amount of speaking time with 7:43. Every other candidate had above 12 minutes.

And then there is the Yang Media Blackout. Andrew Yang -- the only candidate of color on the debate stage -- has been treated entirely unfairly and has not been given even close to a similar chance to reach the American people as the other candidates. As I'm writing this, CNN and the New York Times do not show Yang on their lists of speaking time. One time is a coincidence. Two publishers doing it on the same night after doing it dozens of times over the course of the campaign is not a coincidence.

If the DNC believes in fairness -- and empathizing with the sole candidate of color -- they will invite Andrew Yang to attend the Nevada Democratic Debate on February 19th. Because of the DNC's failure thus far to get moderators to treat each candidate equally, they must make up for this mistake by allowing Yang to attend the next debate.

The DNC is asking all of us to "vote blue no matter who." If they want to gain our vote, they have to gain our trust. Allowing Andrew Yang to attend the next debate to make up for their past mistakes will show integrity and will make a lot of Americans feel much better about voting Democrat.
