MLB is making it near impossible for fans to enjoy watching their favorite team at home. I, like countless other fans, pay for MLB.tv subscriptions, but we are consistently barred from viewing games due to the current blackout policies. 

Major League Baseball (MLB) restricts fans from watching certain games in their local markets to amplify the sales and viewership of regional sports networks. According to Forbes, these blackout restrictions affect even those who willingly pay for subscriptions like MLB.tv and MLB Extra Innings, frustrating fans across the United States.

The sport of baseball is meant to unite us, but how can we feel united when we are restricted from what we love? It feels as though the MLB is putting corporate interests before their loyal fans. This issue goes beyond just me, it affects thousands of fans across the United States.

It's time for MLB to reconsider these blackout restrictions and put their fans first. Supporters of this petition demand the MLB to end these prohibitive rules, allowing subscribers to watch any game, regardless of their geographical location.
