this is our Scotland time all the land is put in trust and the people decide who gets to lease use of the land - not the rich evicting Scots farmers off the land so the rich can feed their insatiable greed while starving everyone in Scotland - half a million and more eating from nasty food parcels when these farmers were feeding Scotlad's people and rich landowners want to stop Scotland' s people being fed - the establishment - established themselves in 1066 as the leeches who suck the life out of the UK

There is already a much more suitable location for this project and no need to destroy prime agricultural land

We need to protect agriculture across the country. I saw the article on channel 4 news about arran farmer evictions and found this when sea Ching for more information. I am a city dweller who still needs to eat! Are we going to end up importing 100% of our food?

The Parliament is the body responsible for implementing this obviously flawed law and therefore should now revisit and use the power to reverse it immediately.
The Parliament Agricultural Acts of 1947 and 1948, protected farming. The Acts since, have all been introduced to undermine farming and tenant farmers. It is time for the politicians to explain why they sacrificed food for the nation and farming families homes to big business and bird charities?

It is outrageous in 2016 to think of this man being evicted from the farm his family has managed for over 100 years. If a Scottish Government can't stop this, you have to wonder what we fought for all those years!

I recently walked down this road without knowing that it was the proposed location for a film studio. I entered the ancient churchyard nearby (older than Roslin Chapel) and saw the peace of Jim's Farm. I met a lovely resident there who gave me some plants - it is a beautiful place, already too encroached by traffic noise and developments. I think it's a spiritual place too - I felt that strongly when I was there. These developers seem very untrustworthy to me and they don't even have a commercial backer. A ponzi scheme.
