Demand Improvements to Counter-Strike 2: Fix Gameplay Glitches and Cheating

The Issue

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) was more than just a game; it was a global phenomenon that captivated millions with its balanced gameplay, strategic depth, and thrilling competition. While there were certain issues such as the 64 tickrate and an imperfect anti-cheat system, the spirit of the game was fiercely loyal to its community. With the updated release now being titled Counter-Strike 2, players were filled with hope and anticipation for generations of gameplay improvements. However, Counter-Strike 2 has not lived up to expectations and has instead left many players deeply frustrated and disappointed.

The game suffers from numerous debilitating issues that make it nearly unplayable. Glitched animations, erratic shooting mechanics, and flawed movement undermine the gaming experience that was once fluid and enjoyable. The biggest impediment, however, is the overwhelming presence of cheaters. A typical game consists of two teams each comprising five players, and facing 2-4 cheaters per game absolutely destroys the competitive integrity of the experience.

We, the players and fans of Counter-Strike, call for immediate action to resolve these issues. We demand a robust and effective anti-cheat system that truly enforces fair play. We urge the developers to fix the broken animations, shooting mechanics, and movement glitches that plague the current state of the game.

We believe in the potential of Counter-Strike 2 to live up to and exceed the legacy that CS:GO left behind. But this starts with solving the fundamental issues that deter players from enjoying what should be a premier competitive gaming experience.

Sign this petition to urge the developers to prioritize these changes and restore the competitive caliber of Counter-Strike 2 that we wholeheartedly expect and deserve.
