August 1, 2022 the area serviced by Country Cablevision (based in Burnsville, NC) was sold to Zito Media (based in PA).  Since the transfer, many former customers of Country Cabelvision have experienced poor service, outages and poor customer service when attempts are made to communicate with Zito Media searching for a resolution for the issues. There are few alternatives, and for some no alternatives to Zito Media for internet service. In a society where communication is often done with internet based methods, the disruptions experienced since Zito Media began providing local service has been unacceptable.

The residents of the areas formerly serviced by Country Cabelvision are asked to sign this petition, demanding Zito Media resolve the service issues created by this transfer of ownership. As paying customers, we expect reliable internet services. Our IP addresses must reflect our actual location, (we are not in Kansas!) and our service must be dependable. Zito Media came to our community to provide internet and cable services, as new customers who did not have a choice in this transfer, we insist they do that as promised.
