The advisors at PSU, suck. Most of our advisors are already faculty or professors, that have no real time to dedicate to really helping each student. Most of us have no relationship with our advisor after 4 years here on campus. Some of us have never even spoke with our advisors before. Some of our advisors have even given us terrible advice that has messed up our academic tracks. 
PSU needs to understand that advisors are crucial for our transitions to adult life. Most of us struggle with so much personally and need that authoritative figure that can help us stay on track, and open our eyes to bigger possibilities post-grad. Let’s spread some awareness to the University that many of us are not happy with the assistance of the advisors here on campus.
