Chalice California has been an integral, safe and successful part of the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds’ annual calendar since 2016, lauded for its safety record and demonstrably generating over $30mm yearly in direct economic impact to the city of Victorville and regional businesses
- The City of Victorville has opposed Chalice’s BCC permit application to allow retail sales under the Prop 64 state regulations, going so far as to even deny Chalice the opportunity to address the government as part of a City Council meeting agenda item.
- They have rejected numerous requests by the Fairgrounds, 28th DAA and Chalice to be heard, and have relied on inaccurate information, the internal dysfunction of the City Council and personal politics to prevent an honest and public discussion about Chalice’s value to the community and track record of safety.
We, the undersigned, hereby demand that the City of Victorville fairly and equitably meet with the Chalice organizers, the 28th DAA and the SBC County Fair and issue Chalice a letter of approval to conduct their festival as planned on July 13-15, 2018
