Justice Barrett:

I am writing to request that you immediately resign as Supreme Court Associate Justice. You were appointed to this court not for your brilliant legal mind, but because Mitch McConnell knew you would lie to Congress to gain your bench seat. You were appointed, not for your jurisprudence, but because the men in power knew you would betray the women of the United States. You were appointed to inflict maximum devastation to the morale of American women. You are on the bench for one reason and one reason only: to inflict pain. And, inflict pain, you willingly and gleefully have. Inflicting pain and making us all feel powerless and hopeless is why you are on that bench.

You lied under oath in Congress. You told our elected representatives that "I will obey all the rules of stare decisis". That was a lie. And the first moment you had the power, you undid your predecessor’s life’s work. How does it feel to know that with a stroke of your pen, you’ve demolished another woman’s tireless work to bring equality to women? Are you proud?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg spent her life fighting court battle upon court battle to make women equal to men. And within mere months of your appointment, you have undone her hard-won progress for women in this country. Are you proud? With every stroke of your pen, you are helping to deliver Americans into the hands of actual fascists. You are not on that bench because you deserve to be. You are there to do Mitch McConnell’s bidding. He wanted a female tool that would betray us and inflict maximum pain on us. Again, I ask: are you proud? Are you willing to continue to be that tool of fascism that was forced down our throats in the middle of a Presidential election? A President, by the way, that tried to cling to power by force.

You can hold onto your seat, but your name will go down in history with an asterisk beside it. And, in the process, with your signature on the Dobbs decision, you have already done more damage to the equal cause of women than we can hope to correct in three generations. And that’s hoping that the fascists make no more headway. You are delivering this country to them. With every stroke of your pen.

You are a liar and tool of Christo-fascism. Resign.
