Meanwhile, on TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp groups, and other social media platforms, there are people openly claiming they can "help" others get Amazon interviews, job offers, or shifts in exchange for money.

Many newcomers, students, and struggling workers feel pressured to pay these scammers who promise exclusive access to Amazon jobs. This is not only unethical but potentially illegal, and it must be stopped. Not only are job seekers losing money they can't afford to waste, but they are also having their hopes and dreams crushed.

Amazon is a trusted global institution, and job seekers should not face exploitation while attempting to become part of this renowned organization. The integrity of its hiring process ensures fairness and equal opportunity for all. However, when scams like this persist, the honest and qualified candidates are often overlooked due to the coercive tactics employed by these scammers.

I urge Amazon Canada to initiate a comprehensive investigation into these scams and take stringent actions against those found guilty of such practices. This involves collaborating with social media platforms to identify and report fraudulent accounts, as well as increasing transparency and communication regarding the legitimate hiring process to inform job seekers of the correct channels for employment opportunities.

Moreover, Amazon Canada should consider implementing verification measures for job postings and initiate a public awareness campaign to educate job seekers about potential scams. This will not only protect the candidates but also preserve the company's reputation.
