Harry Law Hall and the University of Portsmouth have provided unsafe, unclean and unsatisfactory accommodation for students, whilst making greater and greater profits every year, this has gone on too long. We demand a rent refund of 50% for the final term of the 21/22 academic year and for immediate improvement in the quality of the accommodation on offer by the University of Portsmouth. 

Harry Law Hall charges £138 per week for students to be able to stay here, which for a student is a huge amount of money and once factored in that the accommodation has numerous problems, its hard to feel that the students living there aren't being short changed. In the time we have lived here on numerous occasions we have been left without hot water, and when the water has been working its been invested with silverfish. On another occasion pipes failed and sewage flowed down the ground floor corridor ruining the carpet and releasing a fowl odour into the corridor, the carpet in this section of the building is yet to be replaced. Internet access, if you are lucky enough to be able to connect is shocking and not fit for the online learning the university is offering, let alone being allowed to use it for fun.
