Because cruelty of any kind is unacceptable. Please also check out my petition to raise awareness of the different kinds of ways to support the fight against human trafficking. http://www.change.org/petitions/you-buy-products-to-help-end-human-trafficking

Feel so bad for the lost pets and their owners... May God be with them. And to think that I flew Delta on my latest oversea trip and wanted to take my 2 little dogs with me...

They look for lost luggage. Why won't they look for lost pet's? A few yrs. ago here they found a puppy wondering one of the runways at our airport that had got lose. They never tried to find they owner. My sister knew the woman that adopted the puppy. The airport covered it up.

I have always flown Delta myself, but now, after hearing these stories, I will make a point not to--especially when it comes to traveling with my cat, which I have yet to do.

This is an atrocity to allow Delta to continue to fly live animals without any accountability at all for all the dogs they have lost or been responsible for the deaths of dogs under their supposed care. When does it stop? I say it should stop NOW! These are living, breathing, loving, animals, not inanimate objects! Delta needs to be more forthcoming with the facts surrounding each and every case so that the owners can obtain some sort of closure or compensation if that is what is called for. Shame on you, DELTA!!

I'm so sorry for all these pets & owners...GOD be w/them. I was flying through Atlanta last yr. & saw they left a small dog on the tarmac alone while plane was landing w/huge engines right next to dog. This is not proper procedure & harmful to dog's ears, etc. I complained to the help desk & he was /very ignorant/rude. Then I called corporate office. Atlanta is AWFUL b/c they hire uneducated, ignorant employees.

Nice to know how irresponsible you are before I chose to fly with you and my animals to Germany. Glad I chose American Airlines who took good care of my furry friends and they were well attended and happy on arrival.

2 Years ago on a flight from Atlanta to Portland, direct flight, the crew dropped her crate. Shenzi got loose on the tarmac. Rather than letting anyone know, they made excuses why she was out yet. She got hit on the tarmac by one of their trucks. Shenzi died alone and scared............

This is shameful... Someone was not doing their job & now the poor owners have lost their beloved pet. Shame on you, DELTA!
