Airline Travel: Economy Fares for First-Class Seats for Chronic Pain Sufferers
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
Over 100 million Americans suffer from invisible chronic pain. More money is spent treating chronic pain than cancer, heart disease, and diabetes COMBINED! These conditions can be exacerbated and worsened while traveling due to long lines, crowds, noise, light, temperature, touch--the list goes on and on.
Many sufferers from chronic illnesses are unable to work and spend a fortune on healthcare. Being able to travel in first class at a reduced rate--a quieter, larger, more comfortable area--can be a much less traumatic experience for the traveler and their fellow passengers. Documentation of the disability should be required to verify the condition(s) and the disabled should be allowed one person to travel with them at a reduced price, as well, to assist with care needs.
