We are a training institute having 3 commercial electricity connections totaling around 60.KW with an annual turnover of less than 1 cr. Because of current pandemic situation the institute is closed for over 3 months. The income is Zero during this period and Zero electricity usage. The gross fixed charges amount to over 20,000/- p.m.

Most institutes/training centres like us are facing unprecedented financial crisis. There is no justification to levy fix charges for this forced closure resulting in this financial crisis. 

Government is requested to look into this matter urgently to save such businesses and provide immediate waiver of these charges.
