In school, we learn about a core concept of literature. The idea is that books have a theme or moral to it. This is blatantly false. Authors don’t write a fiction story to teach a lesson, they write them to express themselves, and to provide entertainment to the reader. I’m tired of English teachers exploiting Author’s words and twisting them to teach the students, instead of the teachers actually trying to do the teaching. Justice for Authors!
