We would like Pittsburgh Public Schools to consider a delayed start due to the rising number of COVID cases both in Allegheny County and in the country.  A January 10th start date would allow sick families to recover and the district to develop a plan to deal with the rising health crisis.  We appreciate our teachers, administrators and school workers for all they do.  We want everyone to have a safe and healthy environment to learn and work in.
