On May 22, 2017, 3200 block of Champions Drive in Pike Creek, Delaware, 43-year-old Maurice Ifill of Owings Mills, MD was shot dead by his girlfriend, an off-duty trooper by her service gun. According to the Investigators, the trooper fatally shot her boyfriend after a domestic incident. The trooper retrieved her service handgun and fired in his chest that lead to his demise.

Maurice Ifill was a loving person, beloved father and a dedicated registered nurse working at a Nursing & Rehab Center who completed his Nurse Practioner degree two days prior to this tragedy. He always helped patients, colleagues and considered them as a family. He didn't deserve to die like this.

We have a serious concern that Maurice Ifill may not get the justice he deserves. Please sign the petition to demand Delaware Governor to assure the implementation of transparent justice in this case. It is the duty of the investigators to keep the public's trust in their efforts for conducting an independent investigation.
