Declare China Pakistan Economic Corridor as intrusion of India's Sovereignty

Until the respective elected governments of India and Pakistan amicably resolve their border disputes involving the Kashmir region which is partly occupied illegally by Pakistan also known as Azad Kashmir or PoK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir), China should immediately cease any activities/construction that have or are being commenced in the disputed region. Additionally, the Chinese government should have consulted with the government of India before signing any accords/agreements with Pakistan on any construction projects that will be undertaken in the disputed Kashmir territory of which Gilgit-Baltistan is a part of.

In respecting India's Sovereignty and the long pending dispute between India and Pakistan over the Gilgit-Baltistan region which belongs to the state of Jammu and Kashmir under the Union of India we demand the United Nations, United Nations Security Council and Secretary-General Mr. Ban Ki-moon to intervene and pass a UN resolution declaring China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) null and void as well as intrusion of India’s sovereignty.

We also urge the honourable Prime minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi to pass a parliamentary resolution declaring and opposing any construction activities in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Kashmir as part of CPEC project being undertaken by the governments of China and Pakistan.

Additionally, we also demand the honourable Foreign Affairs minister of India, Smt. Sushma Swaraj to take up this matter with the Chinese counterparts and use her diplomatic channels to bring an immediate cease on any construction activities in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Kashmir.
