In remembrance of the late Denver Broncos WR great Demaryius Thomas, declare August 8th “DT Day” in Denver and/or state of Colorado in honor and celebration of Demaryius Thomas.  Also petition the Denver Broncos organization to retire the #88 jersey. 

Demaryius Thomas was arguably the greatest and most physically gifted WR in Denver Broncos history. He gave us incredible regular and post season performances at an All-Pro level spanning both the Tebow and Manning eras. He was a consummate professional, loving teammate, friend, and son. He made everyone feel like family whether it was a fan or a member of the team he was playing for. DT will forever be a staple in Rocky Mountain sports lore and for that reason along with his heart of gold he's earned the right to have a day named in his honor and for his fabled #88 jersey to join the ranks among other Broncos' legends with a formal retirement of the number 88.
