This petition is to get the re opening of the school canteen. Debden park is one of the very few schools across Essex keeping theirs closed to students. Our children are being expected to stand outside in adverse weathers and eat a packed lunch with limited seating available. For many disadvantaged children a school meal is the only hot meal they receive in a day they are currently receiving a cold sandwich snack and a drink each day. We may be experiencing a 'new' normal but schools should be helping to keep our children enjoying school and as normal as possible. Many other schools in the area have kept canteens open so why can't debden park? Please help support me in encouraging the school the re consider this closure im sure not everyone will agree however I know there are plenty of parents who feel the same way I do. Thank you
