Congresswoman Debbie Dingell: Hold a Town Hall for Our Lives!
This petition made change with 181 supporters!
On March 24th, about 1.2 million people in 450 locations across the country participated in the March for Our Lives, demanding that gun reform be implemented in the United States.
However, this was just the beginning.
Now, this message must be taken directly to lawmakers, who should hear the voices of their constituents upfront. This includes Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, representing Michigan's 12th District.
We are calling on Dingell to hold a Town Hall during her District Work Period on Saturday, April 7, in order for the Michiganders in her district to let her know in person the changes that must be made for the sake of our lives!
Ideally, the Town Hall should be two hours long and start between 8 am and 4 pm, as this is the timing agreed upon by the Town Hall Project and organizers from Parkland such as David Hogg.
By signing this petition, you are helping the citizens of Michigan's 12th District participate in the Town Hall for Our Lives project, the next step taken by the organizers of the March for Our Lives to continue pushing for legislation to fight back against gun violence.
