YouTube Community,

Witnessing what YouTube has done to the dislike counts of every video on said platform,

Knowing that dislike counts are needed to:

• know how good is the video before watching; and
• avoid clickbait,

Acknowledging that the people need to have a say in a decision like this, which will affect the community in ways the decision-makers might have not fathomed,

I hereby set up this petition to repeal YouTube's decision in making dislike counts visible to only the video's creator, for the sake of avoiding misinformation, informing others about what is good and what is not, and of course, to give the people a voice.
