Dear USA Hockey,

It's time for change. The current tryout format no longer benefits the children that love this game. The current (two-night only) travel tryout system was designed to keep tryouts fair and competitive - but now it only creates problems: diluted teams, pre-tryout commitments, “package” deals, team/community unrest and A LOT of stress for players and parents alike. 

Every year kids quit playing at this time of the year - unable to find an appropriate team. We respectfully request that other options are explored.
